League for Protection of Democratic Values (LPVD) is a nonprofit nongovernmental organization. LPVD is independent of any political ideology, or religious creed. Our work is guided by the common desire of our members and supporters to find practical solutions to social problems, in a spirit of generosity and mutual respect. LPVD tends to provide public benefit and operates in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Moldova.

The objectives of the Association:

• promotion and protection of fundamental human rights, in accordance with the provisions of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the UN Charter, as well as the rights of certain categories of persons, which are mentioned in international instruments ratified by the Republic of Moldova as a basic condition for achieving and consolidating democracy in society, to promote tolerance and respect the material and spiritual welfare of the people.

• storage, preservation and development in all respects human values, promotion of the principles of truth and justice for the protection of human rights, freedom and dignity of every citizen and foreigner in the Republic of Moldova.

• promoting democratic values, strengthening of civil society in the spirit and education of citizens in accordance with the standards of democracy.

• develop solutions through specific actions, surveys, studies, analysis and educational programs to increase the responsibility of the citizen to society.
